RADEBACH – William H. “Bill,” 91, of Ebensburg, passed away April 26, 2024. Born October 10, 1932, in Revloc, to the late Henry and Mary Radebach. Preceded in death by his brothers, James, Jack, and Ted; sisters, Shirley Folckemer and Betty Long; father-in-law, Merle Lauer; beloved mother-in-law, Mary Geraldine; sisters-in-law, Doris Kokoski and Vera Murphy; and cherished grandson, Joel Wirfel. Those who mourn his death and celebrate his life are his wife, Ann, to whom he was married for 67 years; daughters, Teri (Dave) Pruitt; Lisa (Jack) Wirfel; and Susanne (Daniel) Bodenschatz. Grandchildren, Tiffani (Jimmy) Fredericks, Trenton Pruitt, Courtney (Anthony) Piccioni, Jamie (Troy) Baumgardner, Jon (Kayla) Wirfel, Heath (Haleigh) Wirfel, Troy (Katlin) Bodenschatz, Jody (Corey) Sheehan and Dana (Scott) Nolan. 17 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Mildred Halvey and Mary Bettwy. A Korean War Veteran, Bill retired from Bethlehem Mine #33. He was a devout Catholic, and the #1 fan at any sporting event in which his grandchildren participated. We rejoice in the extraordinary life he was privileged to live, and we feel grateful and blessed to have been loved by such an amazing husband, father, Pop-o, and friend. He loved deeply, gave generously and asked for little in return. He will be terribly missed and forever loved. Friends will be received from 3 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where wake service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Committal to follow at Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the Sisters of Saint Ann, 1120 N. Center Street, Ebensburg, PA 15931. Condolences can be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com
