Obituary: KUBAT - Marilyn C. (Kuzminsky), 57, 112 S. Marion St., Ebensburg. Marilyn went to be with her beloved husband, Al, on Jan. 21, 2005. She quietly went to sleep at home after a long battle against multiple sclerosis. Born Sept. 28, 1947, in Johnstown, daughter of James and Florence (Sobleskie) Kuzminsky. Preceded in death by husband, Albert, and mother-in-law, Helen Kubat. Survived by her loving parents, Ebensburg; her caring daughters, Tammy, wife of Joe Sinclair; and Kristy, wife of Chad Illig, both of Ebensburg; and father-in-law, John Kubat, Colver. Marilyn was a loving grandmother of Joe, Landon and Leah Sinclair, and Colin and Brennan Illig. Sister of Sally, and husband, Dave Weber, Carrolltown; Jimmy, and wife, Linda Kuzminsky, Johnstown; and their daughters, Michal Ann and Mindy. Godmother of Angela (Weber) White and Jayne Weber. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald (Ginny); Stanley (Evon); Francis (Bruce); Michael (Linda); David (Lee); and Robert (Kitty); numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Darnell. Marilyn was an angel on Earth, so she's surely an angel in heaven now. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake services will be held Monday evening. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Family Cemetery, Colver.
