Obituary: POPP – Margaret C. (Kubulek), 81, Twin Rocks, died March 12, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center Palliative Care Unit. Born Dec. 6, 1929, in Cresson, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Bolents) Kubulek. Preceded in death by husband, John, whom she married Feb. 14, 1953, at St. Mary’s Church; sisters, Ann and Josephine; and her loving dog, Teddy Bear. Survived by sisters, Agnes Zwirz, Jamaica, N.Y.; Veronica Eckert, Jackson Heights, N.Y.; and Carolyn Sabonya, Twin Rocks; 15 nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo. Margaret was an expert seamstress who enjoyed creating wedding gowns, christening outfits and all other special requests. She especially loved spending countless hours in her flower and vegetable gardens. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Asa Sherman, officiating. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Twin Rocks Pilgrim Holiness Church, 1129 Station Road, Twin Rocks, Pa. 15960.
