Obituary: KOVACH – Naomi I. (Martin), 87, of Nanty Glo, passed away Feb. 20, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 18, 1924 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Louis and Sarah (Smith) Martin. Preceded in death by husband, Frank Kovach. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends. Member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo, Ebensburg VFW Ladies Auxiliary; and former owner of Nonies Ceramics. Friends will be received from 3pm until time of funeral service at 5pm on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Mark Lanz, officiating. Interment Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu of flowers donations in Naomi’s memory may be made to her church.
