Obituary: BALL – Anna, 94, Colver, died Jan. 23, 2011, at Hershey Medical Center. Born Dec. 12, 1916, in Vintondale, daughter of Michael and Anna (Cturak) Wahna. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Thomas W. Ball; sister, Mary Bellish; and brothers, John, Michael and George; also daughter-in-law, Virginia (Ginger) Ball. Survived by children, Thomas H., and wife, Linda Ball, Canfield, Ohio; George (JoJo) Ball, Greencastle; Barbara Ann, and husband, Ronald Alman, Sharon, Mass.; and Elizabeth M., and husband, Ralph Weiland, Lebertyville, Ill.; and nine grandchildren; also 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Nicholas Wahna and Peter Wahna and Helen Ball. Member of Holy Ascension Russian Orthodox Church, Colver. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where Panikhida will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Ascension Russian Orthodox Church, Colver the Very Rev. Andrew Matychak. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, family wishes any donation, be sent to Holy Ascension Russian Orthodox Church, P.O.
