Obituary: BAROSKY – S. Laurene (Ray) “Bubba”, 89 of Nanty Glo, passed away Dec. 15, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 7, 1920 in Oklahoma, daughter of the late Jesse Felix and Odie Mae Ray. Preceded in death by husband, John W. Barosky; sisters, Mina Stone, Oma Ray, and Thelma Morgan; brothers Johnny Edward, Glenn, Murray and William L. Survived by daughters, Barbara J. Kaschalk and Patricia A. and husband John Levkulich. Grandchildren, David J. Kaschalk, Jeanna Pfeil, Tricia Spencer, Beth Ann Johns, Jonathan Levkulich and Natalie Levkulich;and 6 great grandchildren whom she enjoyed very much. Also survived by brothers, Kenneth and Lester; sisters, Lois Allcott and Wanda Havranek; and numerous nieces and nephews. One of Jehovah’s Witnesses of over 50 years. Attended Mundys Corner Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Laurene was known for her baked goods and enjoyed baking, gardening and sewing.
