Obituary: FRAMPTON - Kenneth A., 76, Nanty Glo, died Feb. 27, 2009, at home. Born Aug. 26, 1932, in Friedens, son of the late Albert and Alma (Miller) Frampton. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Dana Ann Krupa, and brothers and sisters: LaRue, Eleanor, Floyd and Bill. Survived by wife, the former Jean Moose, Nanty Glo; children: Jeanne Link (Joe), Colver; Susan Hopfer (Lance), Twin Rocks; Barbara Turcheck (Raymond), Nanty Glo; Sharon Krupa (Paul), Mount Joy; Laura Krupa (Jeff), St. Marys; and Daniel (Lynn), Mount Joy; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Virginia Repinsky, California; Lucille Brenneman, Kenosha, Wis.; Theda Grey, Columbus, Ohio; Roy, Blue Knob; Bob, Duncannon; and Larry, Reading; and many nieces and nephews. Member of Nanty Glo Church of the Nazarene and was in the U.S. Army. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, with the Rev. Edward Albert, officiating. Interment to follow at EUB Cemetery. Veterans service will be conducted by local veterans organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conemaugh Hospice.
